December 20th, 1986

DECEMBER 20TH 1986 is a short tale of holiday pressure and the lengths one man will go to secure his family’s future. Pull up a chair, pour yourself a cup of hot cocoa, and whatever you do, stay out of the basement.

Description

It’s December 20th in the mid eighties. Snow is in the air, and schemes are afoot. For Floyd Fullerton, tonight is make or break. The top clients of his former financial firm are coming to his house for a holiday gathering… and a secret pitch he has planned. Everything is coordinated, from the kids’ clothes to the timing of the mulled wine. Floyd’s goal: to poach these clients and ring in the New Year with a future of his own making.

But something is emerging in the shadows of his warm holiday house. Something that defies explanation, and threatens to turn this holiday happiness into horror.

DECEMBER 20TH 1986 is a short tale of holiday pressure, and the lengths one man will go to secure his family’s future at any cost. Pull up a chair, pour yourself a cup of hot cocoa, and whatever you do, stay out of the basement.
